Film Song of the Day: Anna (El Negro Zumbon) by Silvana Mangano

This fantastic song appears in Giuseppe Tornatore’s Cinema Paridiso, the story of a young boys journey through his formative years, and the role the local cinema plays in influencing his life.  The song features half way through the film, in a scene set in the cinema: as a huge crowd stares up at Silvana Mangano in Anna – a film within a film.
