There were snippets of the film in the featurette but now an official trailer has been released to accompany The Lucky One, the latest in a long line of Nicholas Sparks adaptations. The bestselling author has penned books including The Notebook, Dear John and A Walk to Remember.
The Lucky One, starring Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling is about an army veteran who goes in search of a woman in the photo he believes kept him alive at war. The film is directed by Scott Hicks (Shine) and also stars Blythe Danner as Nana.
The Lucky One releases 4th May 2012 from Warner Bros. Pictures.

U.S. Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Zac Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq, with the one thing he credits with keeping him alive—a photograph he found of a woman he doesn’t even know. Learning her name is Beth (Taylor Schilling) and where she lives, he shows up at her door, and ends up taking a job at her family-run local kennel. Despite her initial mistrust and the complications in her life, a romance develops between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be much more than his good luck charm.
