24 Star Nazneen Contractor Joins Star Trek 2 Cast

Earlier in the week we brought to you news of two exciting additions to the cast of J.J. Abrams‘  yet untitled Star Trek sequel (read more on that casting news here).  The latest star to join the crew that boldly goes where no man has gone before, is 24 actress Nazneen Contractor.   Entertainment Weekly is reporting thatContractor will play the wife of Noel Clarke‘s character in the production.

Along with returning cast members Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto and Simon Pegg, the new film boasts the talents of Alice Eve, Benedict Cumberbatch, Peter Weller and Noel Clarke as new faces to the franchise.

Star Trek 2,  is currently slated for a USA release 17 May 2013.
