Rumour Mill – Harrison Ford In Talks To Join Blade Runner Follow Up

Waves of excitement erupted on the net back in August last year when Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros. announced that Ridley Scott would be returning to direct the follow up to Blade Runner.  Shortly after the announcement the LA times alluded to an interview with Alcon co-founder Andrew Kosove who claimed that Harrison Ford would have nothing to do with the sequel. Kosove stated…

“In no way do I speak for Ridley Scott,” Kosove said. “But if you’re asking me will this movie have anything to do with Harrison Ford, the answer is no. This is a total reinvention, and in my mind that means doing everything fresh, including casting.”

However, the folks over at Twitch are claiming to have inside information that Harrison Ford has, in fact, entered early discussions to join the new Blade Runner film.  That’s all they have to say; there are no more details, but that news itself is pretty darn exciting.  We’ll have more news as soon as it’s announced.
