New ‘G.I Joe: Retaliation’ Action Shots Look Impressive

GI Joe RetaliationIt already looks much more impressive than its predecessor and features the action credentials of heavyweight stars Bruce Willis and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and now G.I. Joe: Retaliation has 4 new photos to amp up the excitement. So far we have had only glimpses of the heroes and villains in action but now we have some stills focusing on characters Roadblock (Johnson), Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki), Jinx (Elodie Yung) and Snake Eyes (Ray Park).

Check out the impressive photos below. Click on the images below to expand.

As always, Johnson looks to be in full action mode and there’s no doubt he will be well placed in this sequel. The addition of Adrianne Palicki could also be an impressive move as we don’t admitting she looks pretty badass wielding that gun.

Talking of badass though it doesn’t come any more than with the shots of both Snake Eyes and Jinx. Snake Eyes was head and shoulders above the rest in terms of entertainment value in the first instalment and Jinx looks to be yet another character who could only instill more confidence when it comes to high octane action sequences. It is also interesting to see that Snake Eyes’ mouth has been removed to stay more in line with his original appearance, a move that will certainly please original fans of the G.I. Joe Hasbro characters.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is released in the UK on 22nd June 2012.

The film stars Bruce Willis, Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Channing Tatum, Ray Stevenson, Arnold Vosloo, Jonathan Pryce, Elodie Yung and Byung-hun Lee.

About James Thompson

James is in love with cinema as much as he is in awe of Emma Stone; the actress joining with Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks to forge his favourite on-screen acts. A lover of all genres, James tends to dabble in an unhealthy amount of comic book and action movies, while still enjoying a little indie treat from time-to-time and a striking foreign movie for good measure. His favourite movie is Donnie Darko.
