Brilliant New Character Posters for Horror Film ‘Horns’

Horns_Character_TempleHorns_Character_RadcliffeThis Halloween one of the horror films to be on the look out for is the new film Horns, directed by Alexandre Aja.

Daniel Radcliffe and Juno Temple appear on the brilliant new posters as their characters, Ig and Merrin, showcasing the light and dark side of the film.

The official plot description of this odd film appears below:

Ig Perrish (Daniel Radcliffe) is accused for the violent rape and killing of his girlfriend, Merrin Williams (Juno Temple). After a hard night of drinking, Ig awakens, hungover, to find horns growing out of his head; they have the ability to drive people to confess sins and give in to selfish impulses. Ig decides to use this effective tool to discover the circumstances of his girlfriend’s death and to seek revenge by finding the true murderer.

Both Radcliffe and Temple have some experience in unusual and macabre films.  Radcliffe starred in the highly acclaimed The Woman in Black, and just wrapped filming on Frankenstein as Igor.  Juno Temple recently starred in the freaky thriller Magic Magic.  Both Radcliffe and Temple have films out this summer; Radcliffe stars in the romantic comedy What If (opposite Zoe Kazan) and Temple is part of the ensemble of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

Max Minghella, David Morse, and Heather Graham also star in Horns, which is the debut film by screenwriter Keith Bunin (In Treatment) from a novel by Joe Hill.

Horns opens in theaters in the US on October 29th and enters UK realms on 31st October.

About Lesley Coffin

Lesley is a midwesterner at heart, who happens to reside in New York City (by way of Queens). Heralding from the hometown of John Hughes (yes, she went to Ferris Bueller's high school and they did have Saturday detention), went to college at Ball State University (that place David Letterman always talks about giving money to) and completed a Masters degree at New York University. Lesley writes books about film and Hollywood and thinks both seriously and humorously about the world of film, television, and Hollywood. "Even as a kid I tended to want to analyze anything and everything I watched, a character trait I still have and channel into my creative pursuits to avoid driving friends and family crazy. My taste in movies are all over the place, but I love interesting films and the film world."
