The Tommy Wiseau biographical comedy-drama The Disaster Artist, starring the Franco brothers, is nearing its December release date following a wave of success on the festival circuit this year. And A24 have released the second full trailer for the much acclaimed film.

Currently sitting at a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it explores the making of the widely infamous 2003 film The Room, and the unlikely friendship between the eccentric Wiseau (James Franco) and Greg Sestero (Dave Franco), following their chance meeting. The film was the debut feature of Wiseau’s, and has gained a cult following through its universal derision. With many citing it as the ‘worst film ever made’.

The trailer below features pull quotes with extremely positively accolades. With The Hollywood News calling it “one of the year’s best films”, and The Playlist hailing it a “masterpiece”.

Financed with his own money, Wiseau writes, directs and stars in “The Room,” a critically maligned movie that becomes a cult classic.
