Armie Hammer has seen his fair share of thrilling movies in his career so far, with the star having spearheaded Disney’s The Lone Ranger and joined forces with Henry Cavill for Guy Ritchie‘s The Man From UNCLE and now he’s about ti hit the desert plains for a movie that is as much about the thrills and tension as it is about human emotion.

His latest film, Mine, sees him taking on the role of Sergeant Mike Stevens who soon finds himself alone in the desert in the greatest of danger. After an assassination attempt goes awry and his partner falls foul of an exploding mine, Hammer’s character steps on a mine himself and must stay in the same position until extraction arrives some fifty-plus hours later.

Stuck in the middle of the desert with limited supplies, he must take on the demands of the desert heat as well as animals roaming the plains and other combatants who are certainly ready to put their itchy trigger fingers to good use. It’s safe to say, this one is going to be a nerve shredder.
