Get Lyrical With Romantic New La La Land Clip

Damien Chazelle’s critically-acclaimed and Academy Award-frontrunner La La Land opens in US theatres tomorrow, and as someone who has seen the movie, audiences are in for a real treat. It is a glorious, gorgeous work indeed.

Now UK viewers sadly won’t be seeing the Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone musical romance until Thursday, 12th January, but to tide you over, here is a ravishing new clip from the film.

Seb (Gosling) and Mia (Stone) can be seen singing “City of Stars” with bespoke naturalism – laughing and fumbling pitch throughout – which lends kindly to La La Land‘s extremely honest, humane tone. Check it out here, and try not to fall in love…
