Iron Fist Cast Announced For London Film And Comic Con

Three guests from Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series Iron Fist have been announced for next year’s London Film and Comic Con.

Showmasters have got in early to add Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick and Tom Pelphrey to their event, taking place on 28th-30th July 2017 at the Olympia.  Jones and Henwick, who have both also starred in Game of Thrones, were announced for July 2016’s event but pulled out when they were cast in (and started filming) Iron Fist. Henwick also appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Iron Fist will be available on Netflix on March 17th 2017, making it the fourth Marvel show on the platform, after Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. The four will team up when they become The Defenders later in 2017.

Jones stars as Danny Rand, who wields the mystic power known as the Iron Fist.  Henwick will appear as Colleen Wing, and Pelphrey will play Ward Meachum.

Many more guests from film, television and comics will be announced for the event over the coming months, joining the Iron Fist stars and previously announced former Doctor’s Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker. Fans can have photos with guests, get autographs, attend talks and panels, play video games, cosplay and much more.
