After the disappointments of both Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, many fans are hoping that Justice League and the other big DC movie this year, Wonder Woman, will salvage the DCEU and send it back on a good path. And with the debut of a lighter-toned film back at Comic-Con, this one could yet surprise many of those unconvinced by the film series thus far.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, in “Justice League” Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash — it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ezra Miller (The Flash) and Ray Fisher (Cyborg) star as the titular league and are joined by Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Jeremy Irons (Alfred), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta) , J. K. Simmons (Commissioner Gordon) and Willem Dafoe (Vulko).

Justice League opens in cinemas on November 17th.
