Rodeo Horror Flick LASSO Releases Trailer

Filmoria has the latest scoop on horror-thriller film LASSO, as director Evan Cecil, along with executive producer, and CEO of Dragonfly Films, Todd Myers, and producer Elaine Marie Gibson, release the official trailer to the flick starring Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints), Lindsey Morgan (The 100), Karen Grassle (Little House on the Prairie) and Andrew Jacobs (Paranormal Activity).

“We are excited to share the first official trailer for LASSO,” said Evan Cecil. “As a director, it is hard to select which footage to include in a trailer in order to give an audience enough of a glimpse of the final movie, without too many spoilers. I think we captured it, and hope LASSO fans enjoy the ride!”

Written by Roberto Marinas, LASSO is the story of Simon (Andrew Jacobs) and Kit (Lindsey Morgan), two young leaders of an Active Senior Tour group, out on an adventure to a small-town Rodeo festival located deep in the woods. It’s a great experience for the group … until they try to leave. Simon and Kit must save themselves, and whatever seniors they can, from becoming victims of a deadly Rodeo Ritual. Along the way they join up with another unexpected group of victims, including, Ennis (Sean Patrick Flannery), a one-armed cowboy, Rosheen, the Rodeo queen, and Trish, a powerhouse female bull rider. Together the group must fight to survive the night from relentless bloodthirsty cowboys on the hunt for human livestock.

Dragonfly Films, has several films slated for production later this year, including The Brethren, Murrieta, The Fall and Hard Drive.
