If you’re a fan of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia then chances are that Fist Fight, from director Richie Keen, is going to be right up your street. Starring Ice Cube and Charlie Day, the movie is set to take some of the aspects from the hit TV show – now into its staggering twelfth season – and bottles them up to create a movie that looks just as riotous as it does utterly hilarious.

The setup is pretty simple: it’s teachers Charlie Day and Ice Cube going toe-to-toe in a playground bust-up that you’d normally expect from bickering students. Of course, Day is the massive underdog in this scenario but that’s where the charm of such a film can grab you by the scruff of the neck and deliver plentiful comedic moments – plus you’ve got the incredibly talented likes of Jillian Bell, Tracy Morgan, Dean Norris, Dennis Haysbert and Christina Hendricks involved to boot!

On the last day of the year, mild-mannered high school English teacher Andy Campbell (Day) is trying his best to keep it together amidst senior pranks, a dysfunctional administration and budget cuts that put jobs on the line.  But things go from bad to worse when he accidentally crosses his much tougher and deeply feared colleague, Ron Strickland (Ice Cube), who challenges Campbell to an old-fashioned throw down after school.  News of the fight spreads like wildfire and ends up becoming the very thing this school, and Campbell, needed.

Fist Fight is set for UK release on 3rd March.
