Watch: Filmoria’s Awesome Monster Movies

Kong: Skull Island has got many fans of the classic series hyped up for the next screen outing of the King himself. So far, the trailers and marketing material for the monster movie reboot have been phenomenal – and I simply can not wait for March 10th 2017!

So in celebration, here’s a video with a rundown of some of my favourite monster movies of all time. There are a few obvious picks (the classics, naturally), however there may be the odd one or two that some are unfamiliar with.

Kong: Skull Island is directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and written by Dan Gilroy and Max Borenstein, from a story by John Gatins and Gilroy. The film is a reboot of the King Kong franchise and will serve as the second film in Legendary’s MonsterVerse. It stars an ensemble cast consisting of Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Brie Larson, Jing Tian, Toby Kebbell, Corey Hawkins and John C. Reilly. It is scheduled to be released in the UK and the United States on March 10, 2017, in 2D, 3D, IMAX 3D and in Dolby Cinemas.
