Westworld Season 2 – Available this April

Season 2 sees the return of Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy and JJ Abram’s story about the dawn of artificial intelligence, where chaos still reigns, new worlds are introduced and a revolution is in full swing. Season 1 ended in dramatic fashion, with the hosts turning on their masters as part of a rebellion led by Maeve Millay (played by Thandie Newton), and it seems the second instalment will be a turbulent affair.

Deep State – Available from 5th April

Tipped to become the latest obsession for fans of intelligence thrillers, Deep State follows the life an ex-spy who believes he has retired from the M16 until he is called back to do one final job to regain his life. The eight-part series starring Mark Strong, Game of Throne’s Joe Dempsie, newcomer Karima McAdams and produced by Endor Productions, Deep State promises to provide drama with guns and grit.

In the Long Run – Available from 29th March

Inspired loosely on the events of his own childhood growing up in inner London in the 1980’s, In the Long Run is a comedic turn for Idris Elba. He plays the lead character Walter, an affable family man who is understood to be modelled on the actor’s late father. Walter is your everyday man living in east London, happy to just get by until his brother, Valentine arrives in the UK from Sierra Leone with an energy and lust for life. He crashes into their lives bringing laughter, chaos and igniting a passion for music in Akuna, Walters son.

Marvel Runaways – Available from April 18th

Based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, Marvel Runaways follows a group of teenagers who run away from their homes to unite against a common enemy – their super-villain parents in disguise!

Based on the best-selling book franchise, this popular family comedy tells the story of two pranksters, Frank (voiced by Kevin Hart, and Harold (voiced by Thomas Middleditch), who hypnotise their principal into thinking he is a superhero named Captain Underpants. This hilarious tale is a must watch for all the family.

Girls Trip – Available from April 27th

Join in on this adventurous journey with four life-long girlfriends (Jade Pinkett Smith, Queen Latifah, Regina Hall and Tiffany Haddish), who have grown distant over the years, who travel to New Orleans for the annual Essence Festival in order to reconnect. Witness the women as they rekindle sisterhoods, rediscover their wild sides and dance ‘til dawn.
