Ryan Murphy’s Latest Reignites The Feud Between Bette Davis & Joan Crawford
NewsTV 16th February 2017 Chris Haydon 0

The bitter rift between Hollywood screen icons Bette Davis and Joan Crawford is the stuff of cinematic legend. The warring stars of 40s and 50s Americana butted heads repeatedly and venomously on the set of 1962’s Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? (amazing film, by the way…) which would be their only pairing across illustrious careers.
Now, in 2017, television mogul Ryan Murphy – the man behind American Horror Story, Scream Queens, and The People v. O.J. Simpson – is bringing back all the bile and brutality with his new FX drama, Feud. Starring Susan Sarandon as Davis, and Jessica Lange as Crawford, the supporting cast is equally impressive, with the likes of Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Stanley Tucci, and Alfred Molina on board. Check out the fiery trailer and opening titles right here.

The show, which airs 5th March on FX, will detail the ferocity between the actresses, but also provide a pertinent commentary on ageing in the spotlight, and the unravelling of stardom in the dawn of a new, much younger Hollywood.
We at Filmoria are pumped for Feud, and we cannot wait to see the fireworks explode. “Action!”
