The third outing in the rebooted Planet Of The Apes series, War For The Planet Of The Apes, recently unveiled its second full trailer ahead of the film’s release this July. Continuing the saga as Caesar, played once again by Andy Serkis, bands his ape comrades together once more. As they face off against a human army, led by head antagonist Woody Harrelson.
The film follows on from its critically acclaimed predecessors – Rise and Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes. That had reintroduced the much loved film franchise, after Tim Burton’s lacklustre effort from 2001.
The trailer hints on story points and key characters’ roles, including Caesar himself, Harrelson as The Colonel, Maurice the orangutan and an unnamed gorilla that appears to have defected to the human side….
