Dwayne Johnson To Produce Movie Based On WWE’s Paige

Dwayne Johnson clearly feels that he just isn’t quite busy enough it seems as he has now confirmed that he will be producing alongside Stephen Merchant – who will also write and direct – WWE Studios movie Fighting With My Family.

The movie itself will focus on WWE superstar Paige, real name Saraya-Jade Bevis, and her brother Zak as they seek to hit the pinnacle of wrestling in the WWE, with their parents also being wrestlers. A documentary shown in the UK surrounding Paige inspired Johnson to get involved in the project and the cast members now attached to the film look rather promising.

Joining the likes of Florence Pugh who will play Paige and Jack Lowden as her brother Zak, big-hitters Lena Headey and Nick Frost have now been confirmed for the project. Headey will be portraying Paige’s mother Julia Hamer-Bevis and Frost, while yet to be confirmed, is expected to be playing her father, Ian Bevis.
