First Look At Alicia Vikander As Lara Croft In Tomb Raider

There has got to be a video game movie that will finally break that spell of them simply being an entity that never quite works in terms of adaptation to the big screen, right? Assassin’s Creed proved otherwise most recently, despite shades of promise, but one movie that may well shatter that regular notion about these movies is Tomb Raider.

With Alicia Vikander now cemented as Lara Croft and the film seemingly rebooting to follow the new era of games (which are awesome may we add), it certainly feels like this version of Lara Croft’s story may well prove to be a legitimately exciting prospect for the future.

Tomb Raider is due for release in the UK on 16th March 2018.
