Well here’s a turn up for the books! It looks like there could be a Stark reunion on the cards in the X-Men universe as none other than Maisie Williams has been confirmed as joining New Mutants, with the news coming by way of The Hollywood Reporter.

Williams joins Josh Boone’s X-Men movie that also includes current hot property Anya Taylor-Joy. Williams, set for her first foray into superhero territory, will be playing the part of Wolfsbane, while Taylor-Joy is set to portray Magik. At the moment there is now confirmation that a Stark reunion will happen, with Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner penned in for X-Men: Dark Phoenix, but it would be something truly special should their paths cross once more.

Expected in the earlier part of 2018, New Mutants still has to cast characters such as Warlock, Cannonball, Sunspot and Mirage but this is certainly a great start, especially with Magik being Colossus’ younger sister (could he make an appearance after his Deadpool stint?) and Williams’ Wolfsbane presenting a mutant similar to the likes of Beast in terms of a wolf-like appearance and also carrying a rather religious foundation.
