  • To celebrate the 17th November release of the Justice League movie, we’ve taken a look at the jobs the big screen heroes would be doing if they lived in the real world.
  • New Justice League-inspired illustration shows what Batman and co could turn their hands to if they hung up their crime-fighting gloves for good.

The all-new Justice League movie is due for release on November 17th. One of the most hotly anticipated films of the year, it follows some of the world’s most legendary superheroes as they battle Steppenwolf, second in command to alien warlord Darkseid.

The team is lead by Batman who, fuelled by his restored faith in humanity, works with Wonder Woman to recruit an unbeatable team of metahumans. Together with The Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg, they use their superpowers to fight evil and defend humanity.

Using superpowers to fight evil is all very well and good, but what would the Justice League do if they were forced to live in the real world? With no supervillains to fight, would these skilled professionals end up on the employment scrap heap or would they become the best workers the world had ever known? Home services price comparison site, Service Octopus, decided to create a superhero-inspired infographic to find out.

See infographic here (from Service Octopus).

Batman – Bouncer

Batman is a highly intelligent detective with martial arts expertise, access to high tech equipment and an affinity for the night. Rather than defending Gotham City, Batman could put his skills to good use heading up the security team at major entertainment venues and international corporations.

Superman – Shipyard Worker

Though it may not give him quite as much scope for fighting crime, we thought Superman could put his laser vision, super strength and x-ray abilities to good use as a shipyard worker. A one-stop shop for all your welding, carrying and x-raying needs, Superman would have those ferries and cruise ships on the move in no time.

The Flash – Postman

If The Flash retrained as a postman, none of our deliveries would ever be late again. With his super speed and super stamina, The Flash would be able to deliver letters, postcards and packages almost instantly.

Aquaman – Lifeguard

Now, this is an easy one. What better job for someone who has control over the sea than lifeguard? Not only that, his exceptional swimming talent and ability to communicate telepathically with marine life would help to ensure no swimmer was ever in danger again.

Wonder Woman – Judge

Once caught in Wonder Woman’s lasso, no one can tell a lie. With this handy truth-revealing accessory by her side, we think Wonder Woman would make the perfect judge.

Cyborg – Handyman

Being a handyman is something Service Octopus knows all about and we think Cyborg has the qualities needed to make a real success of his new career. Boasting super strength, super speed, super stamina and the ability to repair almost anything, he’s the perfect man for any job.
