To celebrate The Florida Project releasing on Digital Download 5th March and on Blu-ray & DVD 15th March 2018, the extraordinary, powerful and moving coming of age drama starring Golden Globe® winner and BAFTA® nominee Willem Dafoe (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Murder on the Orient Express), we take a look at the film’s rising stars Bria Vinaite and Brooklynn Prince and why their performances have taken the world by storm.

Bria Vinaite who plays single mother Halley in The Florida Project, gives a raw and vulnerable performance and has earned rave reviews despite the fact that it was her very first time acting in a film. Director Sean Baker discovered Bria via Instagram after seeing her posting videos of herself smiling, smoking, and dancing to hip hop music. With her heavy tattoos and unique vibrant style, Bria had the carefree attitude that he was looking for in Halley’s character. Clearly an enigmatic and talented actress, Bria was one of the several reasons it was tough to take your eyes away from the film and since her performance has gone on to be casted for new film The Beach Bum alongside Zac Efron, Matthew McConaughey and Snoop Dogg.

After bursting onto the movie scene in her debut role on The Florida Project, Brooklynn Prince has stolen the hearts of some of Hollywood’s best talents thanks to her witty charm, confidence beyond her years and acting prowess. The starlet takes on the leading role of six-year-old Moonee, a young girl living with her mother who courts mischief and adventure with her friends and since her incredible performance Brooklynn has gone on to win the Critic’s Choice Award for Best Young Performer. Look out for Brooklynn in upcoming films such as The One & Only Ivan alongside Angelina Jolie and Monsters At Large alongside Mischa Barton.

The Florida Project is out on Blu-ray, DVD & Digital Download 12th March 2018.
