New Trailer For Patriots Day Starring Mark Wahlberg

Reuniting with director Peter Berg yet again following their partnership on Lone Survivor and Deepwater Horizon, acclaimed actor Mark Wahlberg takes centre-stage in a new trailer for the true events drama Patriots Day. The film chronicles the dramatic Boston Marathon bombings in 2013 – showcasing the attack and its aftermath – and offers impressive support from Michelle Monaghan, J.K. Simmons, Melissa Benoist, Kevin Bacon, and John Goodman.

Sporting a brooding, emotive score from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, and laden with progressive and powerful imagery, this trailer certainly packs the punch Berg is intending, and we certainly cannot wait to see it all unfold.

In the aftermath of an unspeakable act of terror, Police Sergeant TOMMY SAUNDERS (Mark Wahlberg) joins courageous survivors, first responders and investigators in a race against the clock to hunt down the bombers before they strike again. Weaving together the stories of Special Agent RICHARD DESLAURIERS (Kevin Bacon), Police Commissioner ED DAVIS (John Goodman), Sergeant JEFFREY PUGLIESE (J.K. Patriots Day arrives in UK cinemas on 24th February 2017. Berg’s fabulous Deepwater Horizon arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on 30th January 2017.
