OTT News & Reviews: Frequently Asked Questions

What does Filmoria’s OTT section cover?

This section brings together all of Filmoria’s streaming coverage in one place — news on new seasons and premieres, reviews of shows as they air, and features on the platforms themselves, from Netflix and Prime Video to Disney+, Apple TV+ and the UK’s own broadcaster streaming services.

What counts as “OTT” content?

OTT (over-the-top) simply means anything delivered by streaming rather than broadcast TV or cinema — so this includes streaming-exclusive series, straight-to-streaming films, and shows that have moved from broadcast TV onto a streaming platform.

How often is this page updated?

New articles are added as stories break and as new episodes or seasons land, so it’s worth checking back regularly or browsing older coverage using the pagination above.

Which streaming platforms does Filmoria review?

We cover the major UK platforms — Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+, BBC iPlayer, ITVX and Channel 4 — along with other services when they release something worth covering.

Are the reviews spoiler-free?

Reviews are written to be safe for anyone who hasn’t finished a season, with any major plot details clearly flagged before they’re discussed.

Who writes Filmoria’s OTT reviews?

Every review and news piece carries a named byline. You can see who wrote what and browse their full archive from the author link on each article.

Can I suggest a show for Filmoria to cover?

Yes — get in touch via our Contact Us page with the title and platform, and we’ll take a look.

Does Filmoria review whole seasons or individual episodes?

It depends on the show: some series get a single season review once everything is available, while ongoing or episodic releases may get write-ups as new episodes land.

How do I find coverage of a specific show?

Use the search icon in the site’s main menu, or browse this OTT section page by page using the pagination above — the most recent articles appear first.

Is Filmoria’s OTT coverage independent?

Yes. Reviews and opinion pieces reflect the independent view of the credited writer. Some content is produced in collaboration with commercial partners, and that’s made clear where it applies — see our About Us page for more on our editorial approach.
