Patriots Day Featurette Details J.K. Simmons’ Sergeant

To celebrate the forthcoming release of Peter Berg’s dramatisation of the Boston Marathon Bombings, Patriots Day, the kind folk at Lionsgate UK have provided us with an exclusive video featurette.

The new promotional offering details Academy Award-winning actor J.K. Simmons’ role in the film, as he takes on responsibilities as Sergeant Jeffrey Pugliese; one of the handful of professionals at the very forefront of the unfolding terror. Give it a watch below.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Peter Berg, PATRIOTS DAY is an account of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and the everyday heroes who inspired the world in the extraordinary hours that followed. In the aftermath of an unspeakable attack, Police Sergeant Tommy Saunders (Mark Wahlberg) joins courageous survivors, first responders and investigators in a race against the clock to hunt down the bombers before they strike again.
