The LEGO Batman Movie Tops UK Box Office In Opening Weekend

While the world talks about Fifty Shades Darker for all the wrong reasons, there is one film on everyone’s lips this half term that is garnering a ridiculous amount of praise – The LEGO Batman Movie. Fronted by Will Arnett in the leading role of the DC superhero, the movie is a culmination of a whole host of DC heroes and villains, fun set pieces, brilliant animation and laugh-out-loud comedy.

In its opening weekend – including previews – The LEGO Batman Movie has notched up an impressive £7.906 million at the box office and that impressive figure is only going to be bolstered by this week’s school holidays, guaranteeing that this movie could well surpass its predecessor The LEGO Movie in the near future.
