New York’s Finest are here! Netflix have unveiled a hard-hitting first trailer for Marvel/Netflix crossover show – The Defenders. And it looks like this team of heroes mean serious business….

Daredevil/Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) & Iron Fist/Danny Rand (Finn Jones) all feature, as well as some other familiar faces – in this 2 minute clip for the eagerly awaited miniseries. Where apparent team mentor, Stick (Scott Glenn), rallies the quartet together in preparation for the looming war on New York, previously warned of during Daredevil season 2.

In addition to seeing the team in action against crime syndicate The Hand, we also get a first glimpse of series’ big bad Alexandra, portrayed by Sigourney Weaver.

All 8 episodes of Marvel’s The Defenders will be available exclusively on Netflix, from August 18th 2017.

Marvel’s The Defenders follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones).
