Exploding into UK cinemas later this year is Marvel Studios’ long-awaited sequel, Thor: Ragnarok, and arriving online today is the very first trailer.
Packed with whip-smart humour, exhilarating effects, an imaginative colour palette, and perhaps the finest entrance for the beloved Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk, ever, this is a perfect piece of promotion for the forthcoming superhero release.
Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth as the titular Asgardian, with Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Idris Elba as Heimdall, and Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin. Also amongst the cast are the likes of Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, and Karl Urban. Sam Neill is also said to have a role, and rumour has it Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange may also make an appearance.
In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk! “Thor: Ragnarok” thunders into UK Cinemas this October.
