Caesar’s Legacy: New Video For War For The Planet Of The Apes Hits

20th Century Fox have released another video in the build up to War For The Planet Of The Apes – the third film in the rebooted series.

The video chronicles the storied history of the ape colony leader Caesar, played by Andy Serkis. From his adoption as an infant by scientist Will Rodman (James Franco) and subsequent spread of the Simian virus in Rise back in 2011 – to his emotionally trying predicament and uprising against human oppressors in 2014’s Dawn. Culminating in War with the outbreak of full scale conflict between humans and apes, spearheaded by the ‘Colonel’ – portrayed by Woody Harrelson.

After watching the video below, there is certainly a promising notion that audiences will see the trilogy concluding with an epic finale….

War For The Planet Of The Apes, directed by Matt Reeves, also stars Judy Greer, Terry Notary, Amiah Miller, Steve Zahn and Karin Konoval. Releasing on July 11th in the UK, and July 14th in the US.
