Film4 have today debuted the first trailer for their upcoming black comedy Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri – the latest effort from acclaimed writer-director Martin McDonagh (In Bruges, Seven Psychopaths).
The film, the fourth of McDonagh’s career, stars Frances McDormand as a woman whose daughter is murdered in a small town. Struggling to come to terms with her death and the lack of police success in finding her killer, she sets about going to war with the local law enforcement.

McDormand, in her first film role since Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom in 2012, co-stars alongside Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, John Hawkes, Abby Cornish, Lucas Hedges, Caleb Landry Jones, and Peter Dinklage.
There is no official release date for the film just yet, but there is a possibility the film may make its debut at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. We simply cannot wait for this one!
