It is full of bloodlust and gore but fans cannot get enough of it claiming it is one f the beauties of the franchise. This movie took a domestic gross of 171 million dollars and an international gross of 322 million dollars.

The Lion King

Everyone knows Disney films like the back of their hands and the Lion King is no exception. With Disney’s successes rolling in from the live-action versions of their well known and loved cartoon predecessors, they chose The Lion King to be one of the versions that came out in 2019 along with Aladdin and Dumbo. It is a film that has it all it starts as a family comedy type feel that then descends into a house break-in thilleresque movie, breaking into a horror movie with science fiction qualities. In theory, it has so much going on that it shouldn’t work but it simply does. With a domestic gross of 175 million dollars and an international gross of 255 million dollars, it takes its place in the top 5 grossing movies of 2019.
