Following on from yesterday’s poster reveal, 20th Century Fox have unleashed a new – and utterly terrifying – trailer for Alien: Covenant. Directed by Ridley Scott, and starring a sprawling ensemble including the likes of James Franco, Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Billy Crudup, and Demián Bichir, this is one of 2017’s must-see movies.
This trailer is packed with new footage, and gives audiences their first proper look at the Xenomorphs who’ll be wreaking terror and havoc upon our lonesome exploration crew. Laden with brooding lighting, ominous music, and bone-chilling visuals, Covenant looks to be Scott’s true companion piece to his 1979 masterpiece.
Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
