Amber Heard Sends Waves Crashing In First Look At Mera In Aquaman

With Wonder Woman garnering positive reactions from its first screenings, the DC Extended Universe look to capitalise on their promising run, with James Wan’s Aquaman. Starring Game Of Thrones alum Jason Momoa as the titular King of Atlantis.
Yesterday the director posted a first look at actress Amber Heard as Queen Mera, the longtime love interest of Arthur Curry/Aquaman. Following her first day on set for the film, due for release on December 21st 2018.

Before then, Heard will also be appearing as Mera in the eagerly anticipated Justice League team-up film. Along with Jason Momoa, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher. Back in October 2016, an image of Mera was unveiled on the Justice League Twitter account. Sporting a slightly more armored look.

The 31 year old actress will be co-starring in Aquaman with Momoa, Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren and Willem Dafoe.
