BRUTAL Trailer For Iko Uwais’ Headshot

If you’re a fan of Iko Uwais (The Raid), you’ll almost certainly be a fan of bone-crunching, head-smashing, blood-splattering mayhem. If this is indeed the case, then you simply must check out the trailer for the star’s new movie Headshot, which looks absolutely savage.

Narratively, this looks pretty standard: amnesia-riddled protagonist must figure out who he is and what happened to him/his loved ones – yeah, we’ve seen it a million times before – but damn, if the action and martial arts is as visceral and uncompromising as teased here, then this’ll be a must-watch for adrenaline junkies…

HEADSHOT centers on a mysterious young man, who, after months in a coma from a gunshot wound to the head is nursed back to health by a young student-doctor, Ailin. Realizing that the man has lost his memory and identity, the two quickly grow closer; not realizing that behind their momentary peace lays danger. Soon their lives collide with a gang of dangerous criminals led by an enigmatic crime lord – and with every violent confrontation, his memory brings him closer to a dark truth as the lethal personality awakening within him starts to reveal who he really is.

Headshot is scheduled for a US release on 3rd March, with a UK date currently pending.
