Capcom Unveil Terrifying Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Videos

The Resident Evil franchise has been chilling gamers for some twenty years now, and that trend is set to continue with Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Today developers Capcom have released three detailed gameplay videos which you can view below, but be warned, they are not for the faint hearted…

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard takes place on a derelict plantation similar to the Spencer Mansion in the original game for the PS1. In this next-gen release, you play as Ethan, a man desperately searching for his wife, who is believed to be missing in the general area.

In order to find her and return her to safety, Ethan will have to contend with the mysterious Baker family, as well as the sinister and foul forces which linger in the shadows, just waiting for you to make that false move. If these videos are anything to go by, Capcom’s latest looks like the franchise is back to its very best – we are talking Resident Evil 4 levels of great.

The game will be officially released on 24th January, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. It’ll also be compatible with Sony’s PlayStation VR headset, just in case you want to scare yourself even more…
