It’s been an absolutely incredible year for animated movies, with the likes of Zootropolis (aka Zootopia), Moana and Kubo and the Two Strings all proving that there is still so much great content to be produced when it comes to movies of this type, and that looks to continue hopefully into 2017.

One film vying for audience recognition and overall gleaming reviews upon its release is Disney Pixar’s Coco. Set to be the 19th of Pixar’s dominant animation reign, Coco will follow a very different path to the usual Pixar movie, this time focusing on the Day of the Dead.

As the close of the year approaches, the studio are keen to give us a little extra joy and have released the first image from the film, featuring its main character, Miguel, voiced by young actor Anthony Gonzalez.

Coco is set for release in the UK on 8th December 2017 and also stars Gael García Bernal, Benjamin Bratt and Renee Victor.
