Believe it or not, it has been over a decade since the Transformers series blitzed us with the trademark Michael Bay explosiveness, reintroduced us to Peter Cullen’s dulcet tones and signature pep talks, and served us up barrel loads of Shia LaBeouf screaming, along with product placement aplenty.
That being said, they’ve stacked up a lot of cash in that time, often finding themselves among the highest grossing films of all time – even if the critics have slayed them time and time again. Thanks to that success, Bay is back for another round with Transformers: The Last Knight, and to celebrate the future release of the movie a new IMAX featurette has been unveiled.
The featurette tracks back to the past films and offers little glimpses at the new movie, in which a whole new era of IMAX 3D is being utilised. It’s not only a celebration of the incredible visuals that this saga has previously produced, but also a look into the bright future for such technology in these big-hitting blockbusters.
Transformers: The Last Knight is released in the UK on 23rd June 2017 and stars Mark Wahlberg, John Goodman, Stanley Tucci, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Peter Cullen, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Isabela Moner.
