Major Dives Into Action For Ghost In The Shell TV Spot

Ahead of the new theatrical trailer – scheduled to arrive on Tuesday – Paramount Pictures have unleashed an awesome new TV Spot for the hugely-anticipated Ghost in the Shell, which you can check out right here.

Directed by Rupert Sanders, the live-action adaptation of the hugely successful Manga stars Scarlett Johansson as The Major, who leads a cast including the likes of Juliette Binoche, Michael Pitt, Beat Takeshi Kitano, Pilou Asbaek, Rila Fukushima, Kaori Momoi, Chin Han, and Danusia Samal. The new 30″ trailer showcases some previously seen footage, but also a scattering of new images which will only intensify the surrounding hype.

Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, “GHOST IN THE SHELL” follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
