Meet Gru’s Twin Brother In New Despicable Me 3 Trailer

Universal Pictures have unveiled the latest trailer for their comedy sequel Despicable Me 3, which sees Steve Carell’s Gru pair up with none other than his twin brother, Dru (also voiced by Carell).
Illumination Animation’s new one also sees Kristen Wiig reprise her role from the second instalment in the Despicable Me franchise, in addition to a whole host of the world’s favourite jargon-jabbers, the Minions. South Park creative Trey Parker also joins the principal cast, starring as lead antagonist, Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the 1980s.

The team who brought you Despicable Me and the biggest animated hits of 2013 and 2015, Despicable Me 2 and Minions, returns to continue the adventures of Gru, Lucy, their adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and the Minions. Despicable Me 3, directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, co-directed by Eric Guillon, and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio, will be released in cinemas in summer 2017.
