Altitude has announced that Mid90s, the directorial debut of Jonah Hill (actor Superbad, The Wolf of Wall Street), is being released in UK and Irish cinemas on 12th April 2019.  The film received its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2018 and played in the Panorama section at this year’s Berlin Film Festival. Additionally, Mid90s will open this year’s Glasgow Film Festival and will also be screened at Dublin Film Festival later this month.

Written and directed by Jonah Hill, Mid90s follows Stevie, 13-year-old in ‘90s LA, who spends his summer navigating between his troubled home life and a group of new friends that he meets at a Motor Avenue skate shop.

Mid90s stars Sunny Suljic (The Killing of a Sacred Deer), Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) and Lucas  Hedges (Manchester By The Sea, Boy Erased).  Rounding out the cast are newcomers Na-kel Smith, Olan Prenatt, Gio Galicia, Ryder McLaughlin and Alexa Demie.
