Suffice to say, few comedies this year look as downright dirty as The Little Hours. The Sundance breakout, which stars Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, and Dave Franco, is ready to ruffle some serious feathers, and we simply cannot wait.
An adaptation of The Decameron, a 14th century collection of novellas by Italian author Giovanni Boccaccio, the film details a group of people fleeing the plague in Florence. The just-released, safe-for-work trailer proves that you probably won’t find a more hilarious movie about sinful nuns this year. Give it a whirl below.
With a supporting cast rounded out by the likes of John C. Reilly, Molly Shannon, Fred Armisen, Nick Offerman, and Adam Pally, this is certainly a must-see rib-tickler this Summer season.
The Little Hours hits US theatres on 30th June, with a UK release pending.
