Song To Song Featurette Highlights The Music

Fresh off the back from its World Premiere at SXSW Festival last weekend, a brand new featurette for Terrence Malick‘s forthcoming musical romantic drama Song to Song has arrived online.

Detailing the usage of music in the film – and indeed the many musicians who have key appearances throughout its duration – the ethereal auteur’s latest is a woozy portrait of overlapping love triangles, set to the backdrop of the thriving music scene in Austin, Texas.

Featuring an all-star cast including Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, Michael Fassbender, and Natalie Portman, with support from Cate Blanchett, Hayley Bennett, Val Kilmer, Benicio del Toro, and Trevante Rhodes, and cameo appearances from Iggy Pop, Arcade Fire, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist Flea, and the Black Lips, check out the new video below…

Song to Song opens in US theatres this weekend (17th March), with a UK release date forthcoming.
