Stephen King, known for his many haunting stories of creepy monsters and disturbing memories, is soon becoming very prominent again. His new It remake is set to be released later this year, and his new anthology series has just revealed its first teaser trailer. Very little is known about the show, but will be produced by Stephen King and J.J. Abrams, and released on Hulu. The series will be set in its title, Castle Rock, a fictional town created by King in Maine. The fictional town has been the setting for various of his novels and short stories, as well as referred to in his many other works, including It.

With Black Mirror getting a lot of recognition for its anthology style, a King inspired show might be exactly what Hulu needs to do to gain the same popularity as Amazon Prime or Netflix. Hulu is probably best known for its drama series The Path, featuring Aaron Paul, Hugh Dancy and Michelle Monaghan. The individual episode style will be a great addition, adding different casts, directors and ideas all the time, offering continuous fresh perspectives. Stephen King has a plethora of imaginative stories, and only time will tell if his world and characters will ever connect with each other. The teaser offers an eerie atmosphere with names of his notable characters and locations, giving fans an idea of the stories that will be featured.
