Fronted by powerhouse stars Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba, the first trailer for The Dark Tower is finally here and it certainly shows early signs of being one of the most interesting and exciting blockbusters for the year of 2017.
Based on Stephen King’s series of books, The Dark Tower presents Elba as the Gunslinger, who is locked in a continuing war with Walter O’Dim aka The Man In Black as he has to put his gunslinging skills to action in his mission to save the Dark Tower – and the universe – from destruction at the hands of his enemy.

There are other worlds than these. Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, the ambitious and expansive story from one of the world’s most celebrated authors, makes its launch to the big screen. The last Knight Warrior, Roland Deschain (Idris Elba), has been locked in an eternal battle with Walter O’Dim, also known as the Man in Black (Matthew McConaughey), determined to prevent him from toppling the Dark Tower, which holds the universe together. With the fate of the worlds at stake, good and evil will collide in the ultimate battle as only Roland can defend the Tower from the Man in Black.
The Dark Tower is set for UK release on 18th August.
