The Flash And Supergirl Mid-Season Premiere Trailers Released

It looks like Barry Allen is going to have his hands full when The Flash returns to American screens in January as he takes to jumping forward in time in an attempt to save the life of his one true love, Iris West. As the conclusion of the first half of season three showed, Iris is set to be killed by Savitar and Barry is looking to pull out all the stops to prevent that from happening, with the help of some Cisco vibe work.

Elsewhere, it looks like we’ll see more of Wally as Kid Flash in this second half of the season, as well as Caitlyn’s evil alter-ego Killer Frost looking to make things a little frosty for her going forward. One thing’s guaranteed, there’ll be plenty of drama unfolding!

Elsewhere is DC/Warner Bros television land, Supergirl is set to also return a day before The Flash and The CW have released the trailer for Kara’s return, which is helmed by none other than Kevin Smith.

The trailer, entitled ‘Supergirl Lives’, features the return of villainess Roulette (Dichen Lachman), the promise of more Jimmy Olsen as Guardian and even more sci-fi based shenanigans as it looks like our hero may be in a spot of trouble if that hint of blood is anything to go by…

Supergirl returns to US screens on 23rd January, while The Flash is back just a day after on 24th January.
