The X-Men franchise is rapidly growing momentum, with films such as Deadpool 2 in the works and TV series Legion to be released later in the year. Although Bryan Singer’s latest addition to the franchise, X-Men: Apocalypse, was not so well received by many fans, it seems Singer is still not finished dabbing into the mutant world.
Singer has directed a total of four X-Men films, which X-Men: Days of Future Past seem to be his biggest achievement in the X-Men world, having success in the blockbuster world and left many fans satisfied. Already hired as an executive producer for the untitled show, he is now also directing the pilot. His involvement seems to only grow, solidifying his status in the X-Men world. Singer has directed a few TV movies, and only three TV episodes, two of which belong to House M.D., and the other to Battle Creek.
The untitled X-Men project still has very few details surrounding it. The show will follow a family who find out that their children are mutants, not getting any support from the government they decide to go on the run. The show will seem to follow the parents and the children as they try to navigate their new lives in an unwelcoming world.
