The event will benefit the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry and will be attended by the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry. The Royal Foundation has invited more than 400 young people, military veterans and volunteers who have taken part its programmes to join Their Royal Highnesses at the Premiere. There will be representatives from Coach Core, Full Effect, and military programmes such as the Endeavour Fund. The premiere will be an opportunity to recognise and celebrate people who have worked so hard to change their lives and the lives of others.

On behalf of the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, The Royal Foundation has also invited some of the families who were affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy, alongside representatives of the local fire services and the charities and organisations who are now helping them recover and try to rebuild their lives.

The Royal Albert Hall is being specially transformed into an IMAX® theatre for this one-night-only event.

In Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of the UK’s biggest film of all time, The Force Awakens, join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman. J.J. Abrams, Tom Karnowski and Jason McGatlin are the executive producers.

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI will be released in cinemas on Thursday 14th December 2017
