A Dog’s Purpose Home Entertainment Release Details

This August bring home the pawfect family film that follows the story of one special dog as he tries to find his purpose. A Dog’s Purpose bounds onto Digital Download from 22nd August and Blu-ray and DVD from 28th August, courtesy of Entertainment One.

Based on the beloved international bestselling book, A Dog’s Purpose, from director Lasse Hallström (The Cider House Rules, Dear John, The Hundred-Foot Journey), shares the heart-warming and uplifting story of one devoted dog (voiced by Josh Gad – Frozen, Beauty And The Beast) who finds the meaning of his own existence through the lives of the humans he teaches to laugh and love.

Follow Bailey and his other canine counterparts through this feel-good film with a fantastic all-star cast including; Dennis Quaid (The Day After Tomorrow, Vantage Point) who plays adult Ethan; rising star KJ Apa (Riverdale) who takes on the role of teenage Ethan; Britt Robertson (Tomorrowland, Girlboss, The Longest Ride) who plays teenage Hannah, Ethan’s love interest; and Peggy Lipton (Twin Peaks, Angie Tribeca) as adult Hannah.
