Check Out The Teaser For Netflix’s Death Note Adaptation

Netflix have debuted the very first teaser trailer for their upcoming Manga adaptation Death Note; the highly popular series written and developed by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata.

Starring Paper Towns‘ Nat Wolff, Death Note follows a high schooler who happens across a mysterious, supernatural notebook. Once he realises the immense power of this piece – which will kill anyone whose name is scribed into its gloomy pages – he devises a scheme to eradicate all of those who are believed to be unfit or ungrateful for their existence.

This Netflix Original Film, which will premiere across global platforms in August, also stars the likes of Margaret Qualley, Willem Dafoe, Shea Whigham, and Paul Nakauchi, whilst direction comes from none other than horror supremo Adam Wingard – the man behind Blair Witch, and The Guest to name but a few.

Death Note arrives worldwide on 25th August.
