Damien Chazelle’s exquisite ode to the Hollywood Golden Age – La La Land – is the frontrunner for big things at the Academy Awards, and having personally seen the movie, it is understandable why. You are going to adore it.

Arriving online today is a brand-new UK one-sheet for the Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling-led musical romance, which features more stars than the Los Angeles skyline itself. Eagle-eyed fans might also notice one small change: the date. Initially scheduled for release on 13th January in the UK – alongside Manchester by the Sea – Lionsgate have pushed the movie forward 24 hours, so it’ll now open on Thursday, 12th January. Perhaps the are superstitious and a Friday 13th release was a scary thought…
